  • 5f Handicap | 11 runners

    Timeform 1-2-3

1 Dark green, white spots on sleeves. Baltic Spirit (IRE)
2 Beige, pink stars, white sleeves, purple stars, purple and white check cap. Britain (IRE)
3 White, royal blue chevron, pink cap. Under Approval

    Timeform view

Britain returned to form when runner-up at Redcar last time and figures on a potentially handy mark back in handicap company, so she merits plenty of respect. However, preference is for Baltic Spirit who should prove a tough nut to crack if building on her latest effort at Musselburgh. Under Approval could also have a say in the finish if able to translate his recent AW form back to turf.

  • 5f Handicap | 15 runners

    Timeform 1-2-3

1 White, beige seams, white sleeves and cap. Stone Of Folca
2 Dark blue, white star, red sleeves, dark blue cap, white star. Peace Seeker
3 Red, black cross of lorraine, white cap. Fair Value (IRE)

    Timeform view

Stone of Folca won on his seasonal reappearance in 2011 and 2012 and posted his best effort last year on his first start of the campaign, so fresh seems the time to catch him. A C&D winner from a 6 lb higher mark in the past, he gets the vote from stall 14. Peace Seeker and Fair Value have both already gone close in 2014 and seem sure to be involved again here.

  • 5f Handicap | 13 runners

    Timeform 1-2-3

1 White, royal blue star, white and black striped sleeves, white cap, black star. Thatcherite (IRE)
2 Dark green, red stars, yellow sleeves, red stars. Tyfos
3 White, red disc, white and red halved sleeves, red cap, white spots. Mercers Row

    Timeform view

Tyfos looks the one to beat following a solid effort off a higher AW mark last time. However, he's not one to set your watch by and the vote goes to Thatcherite who shaped well from an unfavourable draw at Thirsk and will appreciate the return to the minimum trip. Fleurtille clearly goes well here, but her best form has come on softer ground so Mercers Row is feared most of the remainder.

  • 2m4f 110yds Novices' Hurdle | 11 runners

    Timeform 1-2-3

1 Yellow, light blue sleeves, yellow armlets and star on light blue cap. Trickaway (IRE)
2 White, red cross of lorraine, red sleeves, white stars, red cap. Another Mattie (IRE)
3 Dark blue, red disc, diabolo on sleeves, quartered cap. Silver Gent (IRE)

    Timeform view

Another Mattie is sure to go well but he has had a few chances and it might be worth opposing him with bumper winner Trickaway for the Hobbs/Johnson combination. Silver Gent could still have more to come, while it'll be interesting to see what the market makes of dual point winner Tambour Major.

  • 1m4f 10yds Handicap | 15 runners

    Timeform 1-2-3

1 White, royal blue sleeves, dark green cap. Van Percy
2 Green, pink sash and cap, white sleeves. Vital Evidence (USA)
3 Light blue and red diamonds, light blue sleeves, red cap, light blue diamond. Red Runaway

    Timeform view

Van Percy has been raised just 3 lb for his Lingfield success and is taken to follow up returning to turf, though cases can also be made for several others, Vital Evidence and Red Runaway also sure to benefit from a recent outing and likely to be involved at the business end.
